I love books. In fact, my library once exceeded 3,000 volumes on a variety of topics. Most people regard books as a good companion because they find interesting books to satisfy your needs. I recently found an extremely creative resource for taking my photos to another level. This informative resource will fill your mind with ideas and at times completely transform what you see when you look in your viewfinder. What’s more, a photo with effects will be your original work of art!

Many people are passionate about photography whether they use a professional digital SLR or snap shots with their iPhone. I started out with a Kodak Brownie in the 1960s. Since that time I have enjoyed a lifelong interest in taking pictures. For nearly a century, books about taking pictures as an art form have been widely available, but since the introduction of Adobe® Photoshop® there has been an explosion of how-to books about manipulating a photo with effects. One of the best resources I have come across is Trick Photography and Special Effects by Evan Sharboneau. With his awesome techniques, taking great pictures is now just the beginning of what you can do with your creativity!

If you’re ready to take your photography skills to the next level and have fun, I highly recommend Evan Sharboneau’s Trick Photography and Special Effects to discover the different trick photography and special effects techniques that you can instantly use to transform any photo with effects from one that anyone could have taken to your own original work of art. All of the pictures in this article are examples of what you can do by using these easy to learn tricks and special effects. These creative works were each made from a simple photo with effects—but using Evan Sharboneau’s Trick Photography and Special Effects.
